For hybrid athletes

Strength and endurance on
one honest plan.

Strava knows your miles. Lifting apps hand you generic templates that don’t care you ran 30 miles this week. Montis programs your strength work around what you actually do outside — with honest sequencing so neither side blocks the other.

The problem Montis actually solves

You already know the interference effect is real.

If you’ve trained both for any length of time, you’ve felt it: heavy lower after a long run wrecks your legs for the rest of the week. Stacking quality intervals on top of a heavy deadlift day flattens both adaptations. Most apps pretend this doesn’t happen.

Montis doesn’t pretend. The engine reads what you ran on Strava, what you lifted in the log, what objective you’re chasing, and when. Then it sequences the work honestly — move heavy lower away from your long run, cap strength volume on high-vert weeks, push strength when endurance backs off, taper both for the event.

You can chase a deadlift PR and a trail race in the same window. You just can’t maximize both independently. Montis tells you the truth about that tradeoff and builds the plan around it.

The exchange

Bring your numbers. Get a coordinated plan.

What you bring

  • ·Your Strava activity (runs, rides, hikes, ski days)
  • ·Current 1RMs on the lifts that matter
  • ·A real objective — race date, peak goal, summit, or strength PR
  • ·Honest about pain history (knee, back, hip, shoulder)
  • ·Your gear access (full gym vs DBs vs minimal)

What Montis gives

  • ·A weekly schedule that sequences strength and endurance honestly
  • ·Per-day loading that progresses toward your PR target
  • ·Daily auto-regulation from what you logged, not a wearable
  • ·Pain swap chips inside every workout (per-session, not pre-declared)
  • ·Aspirational targets capped to safer ceilings when the timeline is too short
You and the mountain athletes are using the same product

The engine doesn’t care which door you walked through.

Montis grew out of mountain athletics in Bozeman — skiers, climbers, mountain guides, post-ACL athletes. Most users come in through that door. You’re here because you identify as a hybrid athlete, and that’s a legitimate doorway too. You’ll see the same Coach Montis catalog, same dual-progression engine, same honest interference handling. The objective wizard handles trail races, strength-emphasis blocks, and run-with-gym-support tracks alongside the ski and mountain-objective blocks.
